Experience
As a trainer, Afif Iza has been conducting numerous training courses on the stock market fundamentals since 2020 with SmartSaham Academy founded by Alwi Adam (a prominent licensed financial planner). To date the academy has over 1,000 alumni. Participants able to distinguish stocks using fundamental methodologies to pick stocks and build market portfolio for their personal investment strategies.
Additionally, he has been implementing the market psychological behaviour using the Wyckoff Method to further elevate the understanding of the stock market and how they impact the company share movements, which ultimately reflects the financial numbers theoretically.
Afif Iza has also involved in the founding members of BNI Jutawan chapter and has represented the chapter as Secretary Treasurer within two terms from the relevant financial skills applicable to manage the chapter’s financial matters. BNI known as Business Network International is an organization that unites business owners under one organization with each specific niches to cater and foster relationships, building trusts to exchange business referrals across the members.
He has also been invited as a speaker to a few investment exhibitions under Invest Fair 2023 and Invest Fair 2024, educating the public about investment strategies. While, managing over 600 clients under the Remisier license with CGS International Malaysia Sdn Bhd, several Takaful Contributors and Unit Trust Portfolios.
Latest training session involved invitation to be involved in Bisnes 101 Roadshow by NADI under MCMC to give education to small business owners around Malaysia. He delivered 5 sessions throughout the year 2024. Further aspirations for Afif Iza, is to educate and give more awareness to small businesses owners about the understanding of the underlying financial numbers and assist these businesses to elevate their financial status to gain more funding access available to them. Started his career as an auditor in Folks DFK/Azman, Wong Salleh & Co where he managed to handle teams of auditors and experience in auditing various companies from different industries. After few years in audit, he then continue his career as a manager in an asset management company. He take this opportunity to learn about the art of investing and trading in stock market. He managed to attend few AGM and EGM of listed companies to represent his company.
After few years in asset management company, he take a leap of faith in joining a tech startup company as a project manager. With his latest project of developing digital bank, he joined an education company Ilhami, which provide business courses to public. He then proposed to the board to provide professional services as well a part from business courses only. This is the point he set up Ilhami Advisory Services Sdn Bhd to provide financial services. He then took over the education business from the owner and Ilhami become the part of Company.
Due to his frustration with the statistic of business failure due to poor cash flow management, he aim to set Ilhami as the platform to reduce the statistic. Ilhami came with the tagline 'Value Maximiser' which aim to maximise the value of a business with a financial performance.
