Technocrats Youth Foundation

Enriching the TVET Ecosystem

Empowering Malaysia's Technical Talent

Who We Are

Technocrats Youth Foundation (TYF) is a Malaysian non-governmental organisation founded by a distinguished team of former Human Resource professionals with decades of experience across leading multinational corporations. Driven by a shared conviction that Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is central to Malaysia’s economic future, TYF was established to enrich the entire TVET ecosystem — from classroom to career, from local to global.

Our Mission & Vision

OUR MISSION

To be Malaysia’s premier NGO advancing TVET excellence, innovation, and global recognition.

OUR VISION

To empower TVET students, graduates, and institutions through strategic programmes, global partnerships, and community-driven initiatives that elevate the value and impact of technical education nationwide.

Area of Focus

TVET Ecosystem Fund

TYF collaborates with government agencies, corporate organisations, and philanthropic bodies to create and manage dedicated ecosystem funds that sustainably finance TVET advancement at every level. This includes the TVET Scholarship Fund — providing financial access to deserving students and recognising top technical talents — and the TVET Infrastructure Fund, channelled towards expanding and upgrading TVET centres operated as self-sustaining social enterprises, extending quality technical education deeper into underserved communities across Malaysia.

TVET Global Alliances

TYF forges strategic partnerships with renowned TVET institutions worldwide, benchmarking and aligning certifications with global standards from leading technical education nations including Japan, Korea, and Germany — bringing world-class recognition and credibility to Malaysian technical qualifications and opening international pathways for our graduates.

Technopreneurship Development

TYF cultivates the next generation of tech-driven entrepreneurs through incubation support, digital economy exposure, and startup development programmes that transform technical skills into viable, scalable business ventures — creating job creators, not just job seekers.

TVET Alumni Consortium (TAC)

TAC unites graduates from institutions including Pusat Giat MARA, IKBN, CIAST, MJII, UniKL, and UNITEM — alongside Malaysian TVET graduates trained overseas — into one powerful nationwide network. TAC delivers job placement services, quality apprenticeship and internship opportunities, and an active programme calendar featuring awards ceremonies, talent competitions, special events, and strategic campaign management that continuously champion and elevate TVET excellence across Malaysia.
